St.Stephen's School

Class 2JW

Hello and welcome to 2JW’s home page. We’re delighted to be entering year 2 this year and look forward to all the learning that’s ahead of us. There will be lots to learn in English including improving our spelling, grammar and vocabulary. In maths we will be working with much bigger numbers now (over 100) and starting to learn our 2, 4, 5 and 10 times tables.

As well as English and maths we’ll be learning about the world through our topics Earth and Water, Famous people and Seaside. We will be looking closely at how other people around the world live and doing some charity work through Water Aid to help others around the world.

We are really looking forward to this year with our teachers Jen and Khalid, and we know that with lots of hard work, year 2 will be the best year yet.

Class Charters

Each class at St. Stephen’s Primary School will complete a class charter, outlining agreements for members of the class and duty bearers (adults). All pupils are entitled to receive their rights. This class charter will form the basis of a display in class, be displayed on the class website page and also be used for class disciplinary matters.
